01 / The business problem
International travel is exciting. Getting the visa rarely is. The process can feel complicated and uncertain, particularly for people who have experienced rejections or heard stories about difficult applications. Atlys simplifies the journey by helping travellers secure visas for more than 120 countries. The challenge was to translate this functional advantage into memorable public experiences that could build awareness and demonstrate how simple international travel could feel with Atlys.
02 / The strategic response
Instead of explaining the service through conventional product communication, we turned simplicity into something people could physically experience. The pitch was built around one clear thought: with Atlys, the world feels easier to reach.
The ideaWITH ATLYS, THE WORLD FEELS EASIER TO REACH.
03 / How it came to life
We developed a connected experiential platform of four activation routes for malls and other high-footfall locations. Travel Hopscotch replaced traditional numbers with countries and continents, letting participants jump from France to Brazil, Italy, Japan, the UAE and Australia, with an Atlys message at the end inviting them to explore visa options for their next destination. The Digital Globe was a large touch-sensitive screen that connected everyday mall objects such as coffee, overcoats, shoes, doughnuts and electronics to international destinations: tap the coffee and the globe spins to Venice, tap an overcoat and it reveals a colder destination, each interaction closing with how Atlys could help you get there. Erase the Bad Visa Memories turned colourful erasers shaped like doughnuts, pizzas and ice cream cones into giveaways carrying the line, we will erase all your bad memories related to visas. VisaSweeper reimagined the visa journey as a Minesweeper-style game on a large LED touchscreen, where a correct tap moved the player closer to approval and a wrong one triggered a playful Visa Rejected animation, ending with a QR code to the Atlys platform or a lead form with OTP verification.
