Multi-film brand platform · TVC · Scriptwriting · Digital amplification
Celebrity-Led Brand FilmA film and digital platform starring Indian actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar that moved linen beyond traditional pastels, proving its versatility across weddings, summer dressing and modern casual style.
01 / The business problem
Linen was strongly associated with restrained pastels and formal dressing. Linen Club needed to show that fine linen could be breathable, flexible and expressive enough for the many occasions in a modern wardrobe, while building a recognisable film property around Farhan Akhtar, the Indian actor and filmmaker.
02 / The way in
Move linen from one familiar look into a complete style system. A connected series of films would demonstrate how the same fabric could shift naturally across wedding dressing, summer collections and contemporary casual wear, using richer colour and modern styling without losing the category’s refinement.
03 / What we did
I worked on the campaign idea and scripts across the film series, then built the digital amplification around each collection. The films used Farhan Akhtar’s understated confidence to make versatility feel credible rather than claimed. Wedding, summer and casual executions each had a distinct styling story, while digital content, website communication and audience-led distribution gave the platform a longer life beyond television. Performance was assessed through pre- and post-campaign brand-recall surveys.
